40 years of knowledge in Water Treatment Technology, in partnership
with Arkfeld Industries of Norfolk, Nebraska USA - also a Registered
Central Contractor (CCR) with over 92 years of outstanding
manufacturing performance, have Invented, Designed, Engineered and
Manufactured a State of the Art Emergency Water Mobile Response Unit
for disaster-stricken areas - or simply put the EWMRU.
(Patent Pending and currently submitted for NSF
Certification)
The Emergency Water Mobile Response Unit is a
self-sufficient closed municipal-grade water purification unit
housed in a trailer no larger than a standard car trailer, that can
be pulled to any location to draw water.
Encompassing seven stages of treatment: (4)
Filtration methods (Sand, Micro Z, Multi-Media & Carbon), Ozone
Oxidation & Disinfection, Reverse Osmosis, and Ultra-Violet
Disinfections.
The unit provides 21,000 gallons of safe
drinking water per day that meet the National Primary and Secondary
Drinking Water regulations for organic and inorganic contaminants.

INCLUDES AN ONBOARD
PORTABLE OZONE DISINFECTION SYSTEM - this unit is used to disinfect
onsite containers, evacuation areas, emergency response equipment
and persons from contamination.
Ozone is
environmentally friendly and destroys waterborne contaminants 3,000
times faster than chlorine or other chemical oxidizers.

Equipped with a 15,000 Watt generator,
high efficiency LED and
florescent lighting, as well as 12-volt DC and 120/240-volt AC power
services to accommodate a variety of computer and communications
equipment.
Automatic HVAC and electrical systems
allow the unit to function independently in extreme temperatures and
environments.
The ARKFELD-built trailer body & chassis are
fully DOT compliant, and it requires only a 3/4-TON vehicle to
transport (weights under 9,800-lbs.)
The trailer
features a 17,000-lb. rated, boxed-beam chassis,
with bright stainless steel trim, aluminum body, fully insulated
roof & side walls (floor included) and full-length composite belly
pan to boot.

Constant output is maintained with a Goulds
self priming pump system in conjunction with a Goulds Aquaboost
variable speed constant pressure pumping system
The interior features PVC clad walls, epoxy
flooring system, non-skid rubber walking surfaces, and custom
stainless steel counter spaces,
and is equipped with full laboratory facilities
Its uses span from portable drinking water to
wound care and injury treatment. It can be a life saver after a
natural disaster such as a tornado, flood, earthquake, or hurricane.
This unit protects against terroristic or accidental contamination
of public water supplies and can be deployed nationally and
internationally.
Without a doubt, the
EWMRU is our highest quality unit built to
date!
Arkfeld is proud to be a
part of this effort, as these units are
expected to ship world-wide, and generate
potable water for hundreds of thousands of
people who fall victim to natural disasters
like flooding, hurricanes, tornados - as
well as man-made disasters (like acts of
terrorism) and radiological/chemical
emergencies - all done completely
chemical-free!
